Black's Primates
This is a concept reference book for young adults interested in primatology. It is named for its imagined author, Mr. Black. I designed and prototyped three spreads before building a template.
The three spreads are:
- Chapter Opener – Features an attractive portrait of the chapter's titular primate.
- "Species Overview" – Presents basic facts about each species.
- Text Pages – A sample text-heavy spread with two levels of headings.
When I built the template, I left boilerplate text where applicable, and swapped out other text with the paragraph style name.
